Monica Remes

Monica Remes is a performer, teacher, choreographer and video artist residing in Los Angeles, California. She received her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Dance and her minor in Cinema Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and her Graduate Certificate in Screendance from the University of Utah under the direction of Ellen Bromberg. Monica taught, performed, and choreographed with multiple companies and artists while residing in Salt Lake City, Utah, including Body Logic Dance Company, Michael Garber Dance Collective, Sugarspace co.da, Triptych Figures, Porridge for Goldilocks, and La Rouge Entertainment. She also choreographed, edited, and directed many screendances, music videos, promos, and short documentaries. Monica is currently teaching fitness and yoga, studying Jazzo (meditative dance aerobics), and pursuing her acting and voice over career.
